Daiwa Hera Rods

Hera rod is the most powerful type of pole rod series. "Hera = herabuna (Carassius cuvieri)", one of the Japanese Crucian Carp, hard fighting fish. Tightly plied high modulus graphite blanks endure even unthinkable hit of carp.
Hera Fishing is one of the most efficient and effective methods of catching almost any fish swimming in any waters: canals, shores, small still pocket waters or commercial fisheries, natural lakes and ponds, fast flowing mountain streams and rivers. You can land big fish using a hera rod, and the advantages in skilful bait presentation are outstanding. You can't even imagine the fun you got when gently move the rod against the fish to strike, ship the line to you, swing the fish to hand, unhook, re-bait and place rod back in the water ready for the next fish. Hera Rod Fishing is the greatest sport that is allied with the conversation of our fish while enjoy a day stream. Fishing comes with a real pleasure and joy derived from fishing because it has long been termed "an Art".
The most credit for spectacularly growing popularity of Hera rod fishing must be given to the tackle manufacturers who continue to produce cheaper, stronger, lighter rods, rods each season. Best quality refers to Japanese Design, Engineering and Technology, Japanese equipment and materials are still the best in the world by far. Daiwa is the No. 1 rod manufacturer in the World makes sure that its extremely high quality standards, "Daiwa quality", are observed regardless of where the product is manufactured.
Daiwa produced top quality Hera rods, the best rods ever developed in the fishing industry. Very flexible and strong made of a Ultra-high density carbon combines precise resin control with unidirectional carbon fibre, using best design, engineering and latest technology includes "Strain Theory" - Achieve power up the adoption and high taper, "Ultra-high density SVF carbon", "V-joint", "Super Ring Structure" for reducing unpleasant vibration, "High precision double taper alignment", "Spatula dedicated ultra-fine Karaman pike", "Mesh texture non-slip coating large knitting grip".     Hera rod provides a tremendously wide variety of fishing off breakwaters, rivers, streams, lakes, ponds, jetties or inshore for fishing Trout with dry fly on mountain streams or strong Salmon on a fast river, fishing Largemouth Bass with live bait on a lake or hard fighting Carp on pond, Striped Bass fishing inshore or Snapper (Baby Bluefish) from the pear. It is ideal for fishing Rainbow Trout, Northern Pike, Suwannee Bass, Shoal Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Common Carp, Ide, Roach, Rudd, Tench, Crappie, Bluegill, Longear Sunfish, Redbreast Sunfish, Green Sunfish, Pumpkinseed Sunfish, Yellow Perch, Sauger, Zander and many other game fish.

Daiwa Mountain Stream Pole Rods

Pole fishing is an art form. You can't even imagine the fun you got when gently move the pole against the fish to strike, ship the line to you, swing the fish to hand, unhook, re-bait and place pole back in the water ready for the next fish. The advent of the poles is to allow us to fish of the far side hiding places. The pole allows you to place your bait exactly where you want it, as quietly as possible, to get it in to the hard to reach places where reel rod can't. It will increase your comfort, and you can catch more fish. Mountain stream poles are good rods with high level of sensitivity and decent level of power with extra-sensitive tip, which allows you to feel even the smallest bites. Several Pole Fishing techniques and methods are used for catching fish, it is great for all water types: canals, lakes, small stillwater or streams. They can be used for small silver fish, or for the hard fighting Carp or Salmon. Poles allow you to fish with a great level of precision and sensitivity. Just once you try pole fishing, you'll ask yourself why it wasn't sooner.
There's a reason that technology has led us to produce fishing rods out of Graphite Carbon Fiber: The Structural Characteristics of Strength and Flexibility combined with Lightweight.
Daiwa produced top quality mainstream game rods, the best rods ever developed in the fishing industry. Very flexible and strong made of a Ultra-high density carbon combines precise resin control with unidirectional carbon fibre, using best design, engineering and latest technology includes X45 for preventing a thorough twist, V fist design for increasing the stability, V-joint for smooth bending, Metakaraman for preventing tangle and twist yarns, Section discoloration for preventing section omission, Anti-sticking ring for preventing sticking, reducing fixation, Texture non-slip coating grip for preventing slip.
Mainstream game rods provide superior portability, extremely versatile, incredibly sensitive, super fine stroke, and still have enough strength to land the hardest fighters, ideal for fishing Amago Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Largemouth Bass, Carp, Northern Pike, Rudd, Tench and many other game species.

Daiwa Interline Rods

InterLine rods designed with the latest revolutionary technology utilize the incredible Ultra-High volume fibre carbon, combining precise resin control with unidirectional graphite fibre to make one of the lightest, strongest and most sensitive blanks. Using every component with graphite, specialized composites and customized components matching and enhancing the properties of each to produce a fine diameter blank that resists twisting, eliminating blank stress, creating better casting accuracy, even smoother drag pressure and greater hook setting power.
The guideless blank allows for longer casts, superior action and the strength to overtake hard-fighting species. Interline rods bend evenly, no stress points provides maximum blank strength, they have 360 degree axially symmetric tip which is completely tangle free and provides equal performance at any angle. Linear Interline guide structure with the line runs inside the blank, is integrated inside the blank, no guides to provide torque stress points, with many contact points torque and friction is reduced, no extra weight, the blanks true action is optimized, no tangles, no guide breakages, even line control with convenient no tangling storage.
Line is distributed evenly along the entire spiral structure, decreasing torque, providing smoother retrieves, friction free casting and ultra smooth even drag pressure. Decreasing line contact and drag thus increasing cast distance and accuracy by drawing water off the line and keeping the line centred in the rod. By increasing the amount of spirals and deceasing the spiral peak, interline rods have become inherently more sensitive. These are the coolest, funkiest and sexiest most technically advanced rods available.
This rods are suitble for all weather espeicially windy or rainy. Whether you'll be targeting Bass, Pike, Carp, Trout, Salmon, Striped Bass, Rudd, Tench, redfish or chopper blues, these rods will help you to hook and land it.

Daiwa Tenkara Rods

Tenkara is the traditional Japanese method of fly-fishing, which uses only a rod, furled or level line, tippet and a fly. The joy of Tenkara fishing is the simplicity.
Tenkara rods could be comparable to most light rods used in cone pole fishing and in fly-fishing and are considered slow action, or soft action rods. Tenkara Action describes how many bottom sections are stiffer and how many tip sections are more flexible when pressure is put on the tip of the rod. It shows how much the rod can bend and how quickly it can return to its neutral position. The construction material and construction method of a rod affects the stiffness of the blank, the blank's ability to react and therefore its action. Flexibility and light action allows you to see the most delicate and sensitive fish bites. Power helps you actually fight the big fighter and land it much quicker that with other rods.
Daiwa Tenkara Action is a measure of where and how the rod bends; it also describes how many bottom sections are stiffer and how many tip sections are more flexible when pressure is put on the tip of the rod. The middle sections of the LL (5:5) rods bend more than those of the LT rods. The 7:3 rods are a little stiffer than the 5:5, also 7:3 rods have a very smooth and slow transition from the softer tip to the stiffer middle and bottom sections, while the 5:5 rods have a very smooth full flex profile for the whole length of the rod.
Daiwa Tenkara Rod Action Compare chart
The Level Line rods (5:5) are full flex rods with the hollow (stiffer) tip section. The combination of slightly stiffer rod and the stiffer tip make casting a light level line just as accurate as casting a heavier line on a stiffer rod with solid tip like Level/Tapered Line. Even with light line much easier to get tight loop casts with 5:5 rods.
The Level/Tapered Line rods (7:3) are stiff rods with the solid (softer) tip section. The combination of stiffer mid and butt sections and the softer more flexible tip make the casting stroke is extremely smooth. The Level/Tapered Line rods are tip action rods, not the stiff action rods.
The technological expertise of the Daiwa engineers gives the company world-class resources to produce a high-quality product. Rod is made of HVF carbon fiber compound manufactured in Japan by DAIWA with less resin, make it more condensed, more light weight and feature a faster action. Mega Top - DAIWA has developed a special full carbon fiber material, which features an absolute balanced distribution of the fibers - the special solid tip is almost unbreakable, involving 1.5 times higher strength. The carbon fibers are uniformly dispersed, showing a similar bend in any direction by 360 degrees with little variation. V-joint - DAIWA made BIOAS carbon fiber material which follows a 45-degree angle and offer thereby higher strain resistance and a better smoothly bending curve, allows all joints to flex more, greatly reduces power loss, significantly added speed tension power for return, minimizing the vacuum spots of the rod curve at the joints where two sections overlap each other and a rod act like a one-piece construction. Ring sticking prevention - DAIWA made it possible to prevent stuck sections by creating an air layer at the end of each section.

DAIWA ROD TECHNOLOGY

CARBON FIBER MATERIALS

Technology is the real thing that can capture the needs of anglers to take advantage of the management and evolution. DAIWA use different "Carbon Technology" in the right place, has been the aim of realizing the highest level of performance for each type of fishing.
DAIWA ROD TECHNOLOGY
HVF Carbon fiber - In contrast to normal carbon fiber rods with high resin content in the space between the carbon fibers DAIWA HVF rods are made of a carbon fiber compound with reduced the amount of resin, put a tight carbon fiber that minute, achieve more muscular and powerful rod. Since resin has a high weight, rods made of HVF are more condensed, more light weight and feature a faster action. Widely used, such as rocky rod with an emphasis on strength and stickiness.
DAIWA ROD TECHNOLOGY
SVF Carbon fiber - In contrast to HVF carbon fiber rods SVF carbon fiber rods are more sensitive and light weight, since they feature less resin content, increase the degree of adhesion of carbon fiber in the hot press process, achieved power slender lightness. The action is ultra fast and the notorious torque is reduced to a minimum. Being used to lure such as a pole or rod with an emphasis on streams without a sharp shake.
DAIWA ROD TECHNOLOGY
Super SVF Carbon fiber - The resin content is reduced to a minimum, high modulus carbon fibers are used, combined with technologies such as air-gloss finish V joint structure and super-ring, lighter, high-sensitivity rod realized. A high-performance rod is used, such as ayu. Extreme lightweightness and an ultra fast action are the characteristics, which qualify rods made of SUPER SVF. Since this material is very expensive, it is only used for top quality rods.
DAIWA ROD TECHNOLOGY
Z-SVF Carbon fiber - Z-SVF is the most lightweight carbon fiber material DAIWA has ever applied. This higher-density material can only be used for a few rods, since is it very expensive and very complicated in the blank manufacturing process with the molding condition setting for it. It was closer to the ideal array of carbon fiber "Z-SVF".

MEGATOP

DAIWA ROD TECHNOLOGY
Conventional full carbon fiber tips feature an imbalanced distribution of the single fibers within the material, which causes high risk of breakage. With resin carbon fiber, a uniform not distributed, exhibited a stable performance of the material out of the sister of the carbon intensity performance can not. Uniform solid carbon fiber tends to be the strong part and weak parts with a strong bent differently depending on the direction they are pulled. In addition, there is no smooth curve bends.
DAIWA ROD TECHNOLOGY
DAIWA ROD TECHNOLOGY
DAIWA has developed a special full carbon fiber material, which features an absolute balanced distribution of the fibers - the tip is almost unbreakable. A special solid tip made of full carbon fiber, solid carbon ultra-dispersed structure, involving 1.5 times the strength of entrainment. The carbon fibers are uniformly dispersed, with little variation in individuals by 360 degrees, showing a similar bend in any direction. Flexibility in utilizing small-diameter tip it further pike, and pike to make high-tapered edges to detect sensitive tip. The cross section of the mega-top, but beautiful enough fiber and resin dispersed can be seen. The uniform composition demonstrated performance without loss of carbon, produce excellent strength pike.
DAIWA ROD TECHNOLOGY
Unlike ordinary solid graphite tips, the Mega Top tip is built with an exclusive process that distributes graphite fiber evenly with precise resin control. This creates a rod tip without a noticeable spine, which is perfect for pinpoint casting accuracy with lightweight lures, and the tip's flexibility also lets you see the most subtle of bites - often before you can even feel them.

V-JOINT

DAIWA ROD TECHNOLOGY
DAIWA ROD TECHNOLOGY
"V-joint" is a Daiwa's exclusive feature that bias the carbon sheet wrapped around the structure part of the joints of the rod, having 2 major effects. One is a beautiful turn. Joints because the material overlaps the double distortion tend not to bend to clean out the joints when the rod is under load in general. DAIWA chose to pursue that or how beautiful bend in the rod, wrap a sheet of structural bias in part seams. The carbon fibers follow a 45-degree angle and offer thereby higher strain resistance and a better smoothly bending curve, greatly reduces power loss, allows all joints to flex more, greatly reduces power loss, significantly added speed tension power for return, minimizing the vacuum spots of the rod curve at the joints where two sections overlap each other and a rod act like a one-piece construction. Took power in the joints are well distributed; it became possible to achieve a beautiful turn. The second affect is strength. Have to strengthen the structure of the joints in overlaying the carbon sheet. The bias structure of "V-joint" is preventing the breaking strength sufficiently, and by reducing overlap, to achieve significant weight reduction.

RING STICKING PREVENTION

DAIWA ROD TECHNOLOGY
Cause of the fixation arise from that part of the seam section and sections have a vacuum spots at the joints where two sections overlap each other when the rod curve. DAIWA made it possible to create a structure while changing the number by the thickness of the section width and the cutting of (ring) groove joints make an air layer at the end of each section to prevent sticking. Significantly reduce the probability of fixation.

SUPER RING STRUCTURE

DAIWA ROD TECHNOLOGY
Super Ring structure produce a lighter weight and roundness that further to the minimum overlap portions of the end of the pole when molded into a cylindrical shape, and the start of winding of the carbon sheet, the twist, corresponding to the powerful pull, wound near as possible to zero. With lightweight, ballistic at the time of operation and pull rod is stabilized by this fine.

X TORQUE

DAIWA ROD TECHNOLOGY
When decoy operation a pole, when drawing, the "twist" is only slightly occuring. A variety of disadvantages occur When twisted rod, also, power decline of operability and decreased stability of the drawing. X-Torque is twisting to prevent the damage caused by (torsion) from load that occurs when the pendulum without bias cross of 45-degree twist is to prevent a thorough, improvement of power operability, and also improve the stability of the pull-out dramatically improve the performance of the pole tip.
