- 1 pound of canned Salmon
- 3-4 diced potatoes
- 2 tbsp minced onion
- 2 tbsp chopped celery
- 1 cup corn
- 1 quart Low-fat evaporated milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp salt
- Pinch of pepper

How to cook Amish Salmon Chowder:
- Drain and flake salmon, reserving liquid, remove skin and bones.
- Combine potatoes, onion, celery and reserved salmon liquid in saucepan.
- Add water, enough to cover, and simmer, covered until vegetables are nearly tender.
- Add flaked salmon, corn, salt, pepper, evaporated milk and heat slowly until thoroughly heated.
- Add butter and serve the Amish Salmon Chowder hot with crackers.
