The meat of the Haddock is lean and white, a little less firm than cod and flakes beautifully when cooked. Haddock is an excellent source of dietary protein. How to cook Baked Haddock with Crab Meat:
- Rinse haddock fillets in cold water, drain and dry on toweling.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- In a bowl, toss breadcrumbs, thyme, crabmeat, olive oil, and lemon zest with salt and pepper to taste.
- Divide breadcrumb mixture into 4 portions, put on top of haddock, and bake 10 to 15 minutes until the haddock begins to flake.
- Serve immediately, garnished with lemon wedge.
