- 6 - 8 fresh Crappie fillets, cut into serving size pieces
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
- 2-3 gloves garlic, crushed
- 1/2 tsp. salt (to taste)
- 1/4 tsp. pepper (to taste)

- Place fish in salt water and let it soak for 20-30 minutes (takes out fishy flavor).
- Clean fish and wash it well.
- Rinse and pat dry with paper towels.
- Preheat oven to to 375°F. (190°C).
- Spray cookie sheet with Pam.
- Spread fillets evenly.
- Drizzle with crushed garlic.
- Sprinkle with bread crumbs, season with salt and pepper or fish seasoning.
- Broil until slightly browned, until it is white and flakes easily with a fork to be sure it is cooked thoroughly.
