- 1 lb. fresh Crappie fillets, cut into serving size pieces
- 2 tbsp. parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1 tbsp. margarine, melted
- 1/2 tsp. thyme

How to cook Oven Fried Crappie Fillets:
- Place fish in salt water and let it soak for 20-30 minutes (takes out fishy flavor).
- Clean fish and wash it well.
- Rinse and pat dry with paper towels.
- Preheat oven to to 450°F. (220°C).
- Combine crumbs parmesan cheese and thyme.
- Coat fish with bread crumbs.
- Spray shallow baking pan with pam and lay fillets in single layer.
- Drizzle with melted margarine.
- Bake in oven until fish flakes easily with a fork (approximately 12 minutes per inch of thickness of the fish).
